During the night of Sunday 19th of April 2026, several kilometres of copper cable were stolen from a solar farm near Wiernsheim-Iptingen, Germany.
The as yet unidentified perpetrators forced their way onto the site and stole over 30 km of copper cable.
The police estimate the damage caused at over 300.000EUR.
