Intelligent security technology for solar farmsSince 2011, we have been committed to securing ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) systems using a wide range of security technologies. Since then, STYX has secured several hundred megawatts of solar farm in various countries, serving our clients internationally with a focus on Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. We have secured several hundred kilometers of fencing, and this work shows no signs of slowing down. Our clients include not only well-known names in the industry but also investors and insurance companies, whom we advise.
For this reason, we have refined our expertise to meet the specific requirements of the PV sector and established the AVASUN brand for the exclusive security of PV parks. Despite increasing price pressure and the resulting need for continuous adaptation of innovative security solutions, the photovoltaic sector remains an exciting and challenging field. Our goal is to maintain our high security standards without compromise. For this reason, we have refined our expertise to meet the specific demands of the PV industry and established the AVASUN brand for the exclusive provision of ground-mounted PV park security. Our deployed systems are constantly being tested to optimize the combination of individual security systems for solar farms and increase cost efficiency through intelligent expertise and innovative approaches. To this end, we also maintain our own test field, called APTA (AVASUN Perimeter Testing Area), where various security technologies are rigorously tested and their interaction is evaluated. The result is verified statements from manufacturers regarding their products, ensuring our customers receive reliable and tested technology for their safety.
