AVASUN again has received the order to secure a solar park.
The project in the Netherlands has a capacity of 13.5 MWp and is equipped with a modern perimeter security system by using thermal imaging cameras and downstream video analytics.
In order to avoid detection gaps, in combination with thermal imaging cameras special XTRalis ADPRO long-range PIR detectors are used.
The intelligent combination of video analytics and PIR detectors significantly reduces false alarms.
Of course, thermal cameras and long-distance PIR detectors are IP-based, allowing easy remote access and remote maintenance.
This project is the first solar farm for AVASUN in Holland. However, the contracting party has already announced further PV plants, which also shall be secured by this technology.
The implementation of the perimeter security of the PV park is scheduled for this year. Due to the high prefabrication of the security system for this solar farm and pre-commissioning of the alarm components in-house, AVASUN is able to reduce the construction site times to a minimum, and this avoids unnecessary costs by long construction site stays.
