A young man was arrested in the district of Neumarkt near Birgland. During the inspection of his van, the officers found 23 inverters that had demonstrably been stolen from the nearby Birgland solar farm. The value of the stolen goods amounts to approximately EUR 100,000. The man was brought before an investigating judge; the inverters have been seized.
