Thieves attempted to steal more than 50 solar panels and several inverters with a total value of approximately EUR 100,000 from a PV park near Ansbach during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. To do this, they forced their way into the PV park near the A6 motorway and dismantled panels and inverters. However, they had the misfortune to get stuck with the getaway car and had to leave the stolen goods behind. In addition to the damage of 100,000 EUR, the damage to the plant itself must be added with another 50,000 EUR.
