An attempted grand theft occurred at the solar farm in question, but was foiled. An employee of the damaged company (presumably operator of the park) noticed a technical failure of several transformers and informed the police. The search, which was immediately initiated, showed several people with flashlights on the park. While two of the intruders managed to escape, two others were arrested. The inspection of the park showed that several transformer stations had been attacked. Here, cables, attachments had been dismantled and placed ready for removal. The total damage amounts to approximately 500,000 EUR.
